Rocky Jack, a larger than life Sonoran Jack Rabbit with small feather headdress and Raccoon tail scarf. Rocky was a first prize winner in Arizona gourd art competition and a competition favorite at Western Design and Conferennce 2022 in Jackson Hole, WY.
Jacks have entertained and inspired me since I first observed them blending seamlessly into the desert around my Arizona home. I have tried to capture their quirky beauty many times. Rocky is my first attempt with a life size mask.
